Our candle refill pouches — including the labels — are certified home-compostable, meaning they’ll naturally break down in your backyard compost bin in about 6 months under the right conditions.

Home Composting Tips

To help your pouch break down efficiently:

Chop it into smaller pieces before composting (optional but helpful)
Keep your compost bin warm, moist, and turned regularly
Mix with green (wet) and brown (dry) materials like food scraps and leaves

Composting not required — even in a landfill, our pouches break down significantly faster than plastic and are certified to leave behind zero microplastics.
